Introduction                                                             Top of Page

  • Your parents have an opportunity to travel to an European country for a business trip. They need to be convinced to take you along too! Tell them why it would be a valuable educational experience! Or they might leave you at home with the grandparents! Do the research and find which country would be the best travel location for your family. Each member of your travel board will research a country. You will need to present your country to the travel board (your classmates) for approval. You can then debate which country is your favorite choice.

  • This WebQuest was created to serve the needs of the Geography Curriculum in a Middle School serving a student population of seventh and eighth grade students.

This unit will take a total of three or four research periods with at least two of them utilizing a library or computer lab.  Students should be given at least one period to prepare their presentations or write the four square article summary. In Class presentations would require one or two day depending upon your class size. This projects does allow for individual grading to occur for all parts of the research and presentation process. I utilized RubiStar to create the rubrics for this project. Feel free to edit my rubrics to your personal grading style and educational purposes.
